Downey III, a towering figure in the field of transportation and a cherished former member of CTE's Board of Directors and Chairman of CTE's Policy Board. Mort's unparalleled five-decade-long career saw him at the forefront of advancing U.S. transportation systems. His commitment to our mission-to develop technologies and implement solutions that achieve environmental sustainability and economic stability-was profound. Mort brought an inimitable presence and wisdom that greatly enhanced our organization's efforts.

His tenure as part of CTE's Board was marked by a steadfast dedication to our cause, leveraging his extensive network and influence to champion CTE's initiatives in sustainable transportation and the reduction of climate change impacts. Mort was a true advocate for zero-emission production in the U.S. He not only supported CTE with his vast knowledge and strategic insight but also touched our lives with his generosity and kindness.
