Atlanta, GA, January 2019
Meet Chase Stell - the newest Associate at the Atlanta office. Stell will be working alongside Kylie McCord, Senior Engineering Consultant, and Emily Price, Managing Consultant. This team will focus on full fleet electrification projects for our transit agency clients.Prior to joining CTE, Chase worked at the World Affairs Council of Atlanta - whose mission is to provide a forum for discussion regarding international relations and Atlanta's role on the global stage. Stell managed all logistical components of upcoming Council programs.
Now onboard at CTE, Stell is most excited to see the rollout of zero-emission bus projects he'll be working on. When asked what impact he'd like to make while at CTE, he wants "to be able to regularly demonstrate my passion for curbing the effects of climate change through assisting current project execution as well as future project development. I hope to play a key role in the inevitable expansion of CTE as more and more cities choose to move forward with zero-emission transit."
CTE staff feel a real connection to the mission-driven work we do and the role we play in mitigating the effects of climate change: "I think climate change is single-handedly the greatest threat to mankind," Stell said.CTE is also naturally full of public transit buffs, or NUMTOTS as some of us self-proclaim. Chase is looking forward to seeing his work positively impact transit projects in the US. "Since transportation is one of the largest contributors to carbon emissions, moving towards zero emission is not something that we should do, it is something that we must do."
